Acai Frozen Supplements – Acai Berry – Acai Antioxidant

Anyone who has jumped on the acai train is well aware of the benefits of the super food. You will also be conscious of the problem of transporting fresh acai. So naturally your searching for the nearest thing feasible to fresh acai without purchasing a ticket to Brazil, to pick the berries yourself.

Well now, the options are vast, some suggest frozen acai pulp, is the best option as in the case of frozen acai, you’re still getting the fruit directly from the tree, it is just processed and frozen to keep it from spoiling. So how true is this theory of purchasing frozen acai.

frozen acai

While most of us will never get to try fresh acai berries, you may be assured that frozen acai  pulp is just as good and is available through a few distributors.

But and this is a significant but, frozen acai is expensive, generally far more so then acai supplements, so you should ask yourself,

‘is the extra money I’m spending on frozen acai, worth it,’

What’s the difference between acai supplements and frozen acai? If you’re getting into acai berry supplements for the 1st time, you could be a bit daunted by the different sorts available. Most supplements are available as capsule form. However, frozen acai is very different, you know what you are getting its frozen acai in the way of a pulp.

Should I then stick to frozen acai?

Not necessarily, just because supplements are harder to choose between it does not mean they do not work, acai supplements come from the same berries the frozen acai comes from, so they have the same basic ingredients, and ultimately the same outcome. If the supplements are cheaper, I know which I would choose.

There’s lots to choose between when you choose to buy these supplements. You can still get powder-filled capsules, but you have plenty of other options too. Most firms offer drinks in the shape of energy drinks or smoothies with acai added. While these can be tasty options, they may contain additives or fillers in the shape of sugar and caffeine. So I would stick to frozen acai or acai supplements.

When purchasing frozen acai or supplements, just be wary to buy from an agent that sells genuine acai and not some ‘miracle fruit’ from nowhere near Brazil, its easy to find companies that sell very cheap, so called frozen acai or supplements, but its not the real thing, so be vigilant.
